Magpies are gay
Hello you people with the S410, i was just wondering is it safe to adjust the power on it?? Or can it risk ********* up the gun?? I read on Review Center.com that it can go up to 19ft lbs!!!! Is this true? tHaNkS

bobthenailer22
hello, ref power increase on s410: 18 months ago i had my s310 fac rated by airarms....... what they gave me back was a piece of unreliable cr*p! after contacting airarms and getting nowhere very fast i was stuck with it so i set about trying to find somone to sort it out for me(i even asked on this forum for help) this seemed another uphill task as nobody seemed very keen to take it on or give any assurance that it could be sorted out. then out of the blue right on my own doorstep i was told about a chap that makes custom airguns from scrach, one qwick call and a 20 min drive later he had a look for me and told me that he could sort airarms mess out for them. one week later i had it back in full working order 19.8 flbs and very very constant, more shots per fill and less noise. he said that airarms in his opinion were very good enginers but that the person who assembeld my rifle didn't have a clue what he/she was doing. he fully stripped re-designed the ports and valve head as he wasnt happy with air arms design put it all back together, tuned it all for £100!!!! he has also given his word that if i am not happy in any way bring it back and he will sort it. he can repair all kinds of airgun he isnt a shopkeeper with a bag of tools he is an airgunsmith and engineer of the most top quality. anyone wishing to contact him for work or problem solving pm me and i will forward it to his e.mail. now i am happy regards bob

markbivvy
digga how many shots do you get out of a 410at that sort of ftb
digga
yea marky, only about 40 full power shots, one of the downsides am afraid plus pumping it back up brings a sweat to my brow, I tend to always top it up no matter how many shots iv taken! Plod said a 22 rimmy was to dodgey to use on my permish, hence buying FAC air rifle, would still like a rimmy to add to my armoury though! Magpies are gay
Can you get the Air Arms s410k in .20 calibre??? i have been looking on some websites for it but they all say in .22 or .177. If airarms dont make a .20 model of it. Would it be better as in easier to get it in .177 for hunting??? Becuase i have heard .177 is more accurate and has a flatter trajectoray!! This must be easier! Becuase i am using my gun at the moment in .22 and i find it realy hard to know were to aim up trees and angled shots! This causes me alot of missing or even injuries!!! !!! and i have heard that .177 can still easily take out a rabbit, you just got to get it in the kill zone!!Please can i have your views, and can you give me some down sides to .177. Thanks
sharp_shooter
Less stopping power and more easily effected by wind. So your starting to come round to my way of thinking then MAG

Magpies are gay
erm...im using .22 accupell out of my Hw97k, i think im going to get the airarms s410k in .22 again, i just have to get used to the trajectoray up trees, on the floor its easy!!! but if they made it in .20 i would still get that. I have had a look at the FAC rated s410, its over my price range anyday!+ with a Fire Arms Citif.

Cranfield
I believe the legal limit for a non FAC air weapon is 12ft per lb. If you do not have an FAC it is illegal to modify your weapon . Anyone posting "how to do it" illegal modification info on this Forum, will be banned.
