ShaggyRS6
I am now happy with the Ruger. I spent a considerable time getting it right. Some pics below. Please view the Target pics from left to right. The bottom target is when I stopped and felt happy. Zero was at 100 yards.
AndyCM
Hi Lee, That's good grouping at 100 yards. Lots of bunny's for you this Easter Cheers AndyCM
dazza
Does the shooting bag make much of a difference? I'm thinking of ordering one.

al4x
the groups aren't bad but they're not great, practice will get them better but you may need to tweak the rifle a bit if they don't tighten up. Though they're rather a lot better then the .22lr at 65 yards ones that were posted the other day
ShaggyRS6
Yeah is just practice now Alex. I am going to focus on control now I have it Zeroed
Wookie
This is where I start getting competitive... I see two sets of groupings go from zeroing sessions and I just want my FAC to turn up so I can take part in that sort of thing. Shaggy, nice Landy mate and I like the rifle. How much did it set you back again? You did say roughly how much, but I've forgotten and am far too lazy to search.
ShaggyRS6
The Landy was £1500 the Rifle Inc Scope and Bipod second hand was £
kip270
What size are the inner bull 2" It should group at least 1" or less at 100 yards. Make sure the barrel is free floating, that can have a serious effect on your groups. Try using smaller targets, it aids in being more accurate, less to aim at and will help shrink your groups
Dunkield
'Small target small miss' a wise man once told me IMHO the Birchwood Casey orange stick on targets are best. You will get better grouping prone, but that may affect your backstop sitation.
Wookie
Lie on the roof of the Landy... If nothing else, it would look really good.

Will use them today after I have dispatched a few rabbits.

Dunkield
Althought the Shoot n See's are dead handy if you are on your own, I think these are better Lee. Cheap as chips in the States, I got a bucket load at Wallmart last time.
