Ratting with the gas ram

I spent an hour ratting last night using my .22 Theoben gas ram and bagged these six disease spreaders plus a couple more that managed to make it to their holes after being shot. I really enjoy rabbiting with the rimmy's but ratting is great sport and a challenge with a single shot airrifle. Thinking of getting a .410 hushpower too :o

Well done, like to see it, they soon get wise though don't they?

Your not wrong! Three of the rats i shot within five minutes of each other after pulling up in the fourtrack. The rest were snap shots when they stopped for a second or two. Even when shooting without the lamp they still wise up and baiting them doesnt work because of all the cattle feed thats about. I still average 6-8 a session which is plenty for me..
