bignoel
has any one had one or used one ,what are they like
Poacher
very light, pointable, slightly cumbersome because they can't be broken, but for taking the odd pot shot or squirells etc perfectly adaquate and cheap to buy..
beatingisbest
I have one and i cant fault it! I sometimes use it more than my 12bores. I have shoot rooks, pigeons, collared doves, squirrels, rabbits etc etc great little gun, definately worth buying. Oh and they make you a better shot with a 12b! farmerben
hi guys, I have a Spanish .410, norica I think. Great little gun but I've always thought a pump action would be somewhat better for a brace of bunnies than a relatively slow bolt action. Always felt awkward trying to operate the bolt quickly which is no prob with a pump. They are pretty rare second hand though and fairly pricey (Remington) Ben Edit to say: anybody wanna sell me one! radio1ham
i have a bolt action 410 and they great little guns practicaly indistructable had mine for nearly 15 years now and had no problems with it great for lamping with only draw back with it now is the price of the cartridges but i guess if you get a dozen rabbits when lamping and you can sell them say 1.50 a rabbit =18 quid if you sell them all so pays for cartridges and towards petrol or deisel but if you can reload your own cartridges as i do if even better lot cheaper
Suffolk shooter
I have a Webley & Scott bolt action .410 and they're fantastic. I got given it for my eldest daughter to learn how to shoot shotguns. Nice single barrel heavy gun so she doesn't feel the recoil. Kills rabbits well as well as roosting pigeons.
