anser2
Out this morning with a mate decoying over rape. Loads of birds about but real problems with the wind. We had the choice of setting up in an exposed hedgerow , open to the full force of a strong freezing gale or setting up under a sheltered holly hedge. We chose the latter. The wind was so strong it kept bending birds that were looking at the decoys away. Despite this we had 53 by lunchtime and got back home just before the heavy sleet showers set in.
