anser2
We still have massive flocks in Norfolk , but they should break up soon. Saw 3-4000 in flocks up to 300 this morning over rape.
Suffolk shooter
Still in large flocks round here, although I have started to notice the odd smaller pocket of birds. Get rid of this low pressure system and the warmer wather moving in and we'll start to see them splitting up properly. Wanted to get out again this weekend, but I'm already committed on Saturday to the local club shoot and then a joint 60th B'day/40th Anniversary followed by the Kent Game fair on Sunday. Oh well they'll still be they the following week. SS

Salop Matt
I wish some would come my way ! Pigeons seem to be nearly extinct in my area of shropshire. The best pigeon shooting i have is roost shooting in febuary and march where my bag is 6 - 10. The chance to have a day of 30-40 pigeon would make for the happyst days shooting of my life to date. theres the odd big flock but one shot and they are gone not to be seen again ! anser2
High seas , we often have much bigger numbers about that that in Norfolk. There is one large area of woodland just off one farm I shoot where in a good year the pigeons start to come out at sunrise in flocks 50-200 and keep it up until lunch time , maybe 10,000 + birds can be seen some mornings ( less this year partly because of the falure of the acorn crop and foresters have been badly disturbing the wood felling a belt of pines ). Even this year a local farmer shot 1500 in 2 days over unharvested maze.

funky
MMMM they will still be in flocks as the weather will determine when they will split up and mate should happen soon and the the decoying will be more productive
