digger
not for the first time im going to risk making myself look stupid but here goes. what are the chances of a large number of us getting together before xmas ? i guess somewhere in the middle of the country would be good as most posters are spread far and wide.i know work commitments, travel, prior engagements etc will make it a logistical nightmare but if there is enough interest maybe its worth a try? ernyha
Put me down for another bash at Pudding Towers providing he can find B&B that does a breakfast and not just jam on toast. digger get your eyes onto this thread and if you think you are up to it put your name down for the next one. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...?showtopic=3215
red_stag88
Did "the photo" ever get posted?
ernyha
Did "the photo" ever get posted? No, it didn't come out too good as the flash wasn't switched on and also Sniper has been ribbed enough by me now for leaving me with an empty glass. Think there is a good chance he will buy me a pint next time we meet.
The Sniper
Actually ern, if we had met up at the Midland Game fair I had something all prepared to give you. It was a bottle of red wine, exquisite vintage, lovely bouquet, south side of the vineyard. It was called "OLD ***" I say this in the past tense.................I've supped it
ernyha
It was called "OLD ***" My daughter gave me a bottle of that 2 years ago for Christmas, seems a lot of people think of me when they see it on the shelf. Nice wine for the money though so I wont be offended anytime you want to get me another.
