a few woodpigeons......just a few

Recommended Posts

This is the annual pigeon migration through the Pyrennes. Unlike our fairly sedentary Woody European pigeons migrate south. In Spain the hunters are allowed to shoot them on the way south but not during the return journey. In France the 'Palombieres' decoy them into the treetops with live, tethered birds.

hi guys,

i'm portuguese and i use to do pigeon shooting in portugal.

is like that or more, over there between end of NOV and March. Is just fantastic.

South of Spain and South of Portugal is full of Cork Trees, and the pigeons go there for the cork trees fruit.

the problem now is the land owners are charging a lots of money for pigeon shooting.in the best places you pay about £2500 for 3 month shooting(3 times a week).

Pigeon magnet is not aloud and you can only shoot 50 pigeons a day.

when i start doing pigeon shooting, 12years ago, you could go everywere for free.now is all private and is a big business.

I hope never happen in England.
