Plumbob
Same as that, Had a call from the farmer tonight loads of pigeons getting into small laid patches, the forecast for tomorow is rubbish but sunday looks ok so I'll go have a look. Hopefully this is the start of it all. follow up: it cleared up about 2pm so I went to have a look, the laid patches were grey with pigeons walked them off twice and they were back in no time. I didnt want to set up over the patch and risk causing more damage to the crop so set up just the other side of the hedge on some clover with the wind to my back. I hadnt even got in the hide and there were birds on the ground smack in the middle of the pattern, shot for about two and a half hours till the rain started again and the birds stopped coming in for a total of thirty six.
