yesterday afternoon Wobba and i decided that enough was enough, having been rendering my house solidly for 4-5 days we got all we could do done yesterday and popped off to one of my permissions, as we got there right in the first feild we could see at the end pigeons swarming down into flattenned barley, we crept up on them and as we got there a douzen or so flew up, we let rip hitting 4 and as we did 3-400 took to the wing ARRGHHHHHH!!!!!

So we badged ourselves up with the m11 behind us(about 30yards) and waited and in they came, we only took 100 carts each and soon , without any deeks at all they swarmed back, my gun was so hot the barrel was untouchable!!!!

I was shooting full chooke and shot one at a paced 70 yards, Wobbas face was a picture!!! We did several 2's and 3's but didnt manage the 5 im after lol.

We ran out of carts in 3-4 hours and bagged 66 pigeons!!! mostly woodies but a few ferals too, including a pure white one and a black one!!!!

What a bloody great bit off sport....I was burnt to a crisp as well as it was 30c + Frazzled but happy!!!!!!! A few beers on the way home and a yapp to bob and then straight to bed...mullered!!!

<_< lol, not hat but my arms and face are very pink!!!!!! <_<

i also think that 66 was a lot lower than we actually shot, sometimes the action was thick and fast and we didnt count!!! Im must get one of those anoraky clicker things!!!!

You mean a Suffolk girl?

 managed to get back today for 4 hours...managed 39 on the clicker thingy......just as we reached the end of the shooting land an unsuspecting woody flew by making it a nice round 40!!!! They were coming in well to the deeks over the fallen Barley, wish I had taken the twirly though!!! plenty went over. Edited by Evil Elvis

EE , is that the bit before or after the M25 , (going North)?

One of the best flight lines I've seen around near there is just south of the Redbridge roundabout on the A406. Masses of pigeons fly over the road to the golf course the other side. Shame it's so built up round there
