bigt1754
A bigger B*?^*y lens for my camera. I hope these upload ok. Out and about in the fens of Cambridgeshire this afternoon, and came across this marsh harrier. I've only got a medium sized lens for my camera. Time to be saving up I think. I haven't seen one for years. I hope you like the pics

bigt1754
Good pics! I can see what you mean about the bigger lens though... Best start saving. Here's an un-cropped version for comparison, on full zoom with my current lens...... Would have been great to have a 400mm lens, but the one I want is a grand Thats a lot of cartridges and rimmy ammo, even at todays stupid prices. Decroyffe.... Sorry mate havn't had a chance to get a look at a shooting times. Thanks to all for the kind comments Edited July 9, 2008 by bigt1754

Most of the pens now have mesh tops to prevent this, but once they are out we lose dozens to them. Nice pic by the way.

It must be a very well run shoot if they like your patch so much. Glad to hear you fixing nets over the pens to slow the thieving. Are you anywhere near wethersfield? I did a course there in April and I must say it was some of the best countryside I have ever seen, and I've seen most of it! Narrow winding roads, high hedges, chocolate box villages. Awesome..... I just have the fens, which is ok, Bit its flat as a witches t*t with hardly any woodland. T

Cheers bud, Fancy seeing a marsh harrier in suffolk, it was flying over my wet pastures and woodlands though. Alex
