Mrs Sweepy
First of all i would have posted this in Food section. But then you would have not seen my piccys. And second What i serve up for Sweepys tea everynight.I dont really know if it would come under that section anyway. So here gos Over the last few days i have had this fixation about suet pudding.(I have even started dreaming about the stuff) This makes a nice change from my normal dreams Anyway i decided the only way round this little fetish of mine was to make the b***** thing. So i have. Now before i show you my attempt on the meat pudding . I want you to bare in mind. That i am not the natural in the kitchen. And even though both my father +Grandmother were both professional cooks(both have cooked for the queen) Their skill do not run through my fingertips (Though i am a little bit better then my younger sis) Right now for my Nigella bit. I decided on Venison as the meat for my dish. As its the only meat i have in the freezer apart from bunnie. And after all those bunnie sausages Sweepy keeps force feeding us .I really do fancy a change. So here go i will that the piccys do the talking. Right apparently my cooking is to much for one post to take So i am going to have to do a second post. God this is turning out to be much harder to do then making the flipping pudding was. xxxsuzy

Axe
Looking good Suz, is there room for another plate What happened to the plug in steamer? My dear ol' Grandma used to make a meat pudding like no other I have ever tried. She would cook hers for 6 hours. The suet was almost crispy and the meat as tender as anything. God i miss her cooking. What ya having with it? Oh and I put the two topics together, incase you were wondering.
Mrs Sweepy
Thank you Mr Axe Now why didnt i think of that. I did not use the steamer As i wanted to make a really big one . I have three men in the house .And they are still growing . (even sweepy) What i am having with it at the mo is just lemon cake But at the push i might be able to find the old swede hiding in the back of the cupboard. some greens. And then do something really amazing with potato. xxxxsuzy

You forgotten to mention the fact that when i serve it up it look like it had been run over by your landy And it was so funny when you stood their telling me it look fantastic. Only for small sweepy to come in And ask if i had dropped it. Anyway it may have look disgusting but it still tasted great . The pastry was just right and the meat was so tender . And what i left small sweepy finished off. Anyway the lemon cake turned out ok O dear sept 1st can you make duck sausages. And if so wouldnt you need a awful lot of duck. xxxxsuzy
