V8landy
Hi Could do with some quick relies on question 17 (part B ) for the SGC form. It asks " Give details of the location at which the shot gun(s) are to be stored including details of any vertificated holder sharing the storage facilities" FYI I currently have no gun (as should be the case) I currently have no gun cabinet, but I am looking to buy ASAP I will be storing it at my home, which is fully alarmed etc. So after some advice what I should put for this question. Thanks Edited September 6, 2008 by V8landy
drut
When I asked BASC about this point I was advised not to be too specific. I just put "at home address in gun cabinet bolted to wall, hidden from sight:not shared" .Worked OK for me with no queries, if you don't have a cabinet when FEO comes he may give advice on location but means he will probably have to come back to check. triscrx
Yeah just list the address where the cabinet will be, They will prob come round to check its in place when they give you your SGC thats what he did with my mate, inspected the property then handed it to him before he left

Dirty Harry
Form now complete, will be hand delivering to my local station. If you do that it will go into the internal post to get the the right department, if it actually gets posted. If I were you I would post it to the address on the forms and maybe recorded delivery. I work in a police station so I do know what I'm on about. I deliver mine by hand and give them to the firearms manager because i dont trust the post! CharlieT
Thats Ok then because my local does have the FAO in. And he will send it to HQ who will do their bits before passing it back to him. Take Dirty Harrys advice and send it to The Firearms Licensing Manager at HQ.
