smsguitarist
i know a guy with an AA S410 which isn't FAC or tuned illegally before you ask and i've seen him drop rabbits at 60 yards. I guess its whatever your capable of but i wouldnt reccomend anything over 50 even with FAC.

peacey
I've a 30ft/lb BSA Super10, zeroed at 25 yards, I use Bisley Mags and I only shoot out to 60 yard with that, anything over is for my rimfire really. If you can only group to 50 yards, shoot to 50 yards and enjoy what you're doing. Lots of people exaggerate their distances, it's like fishermen saying I caught a fish "this big". Respect your quarry and if you feel you want to try out to further distances go to the local range and practice practice practice practice. Good luck Edited September 15, 2008 by peacey
Axe
The measure of range is the limit to your ability. Realisticly, I would stick to within 60yards. But set up a range and test your shooting, when you stop grouping consistently, you'll have your range limit. You could try different pellets. THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Just when I thought 100yds was normal, seems you can't believe the idiots after all. 30/40yds for me but prfer a bit closer. .177 or .
