I bought a wee cracker to be honest

she's a wee Orkney 440 and in pure mint condition and loaded with just about what ever extras you could buy for it

the guy who had her before me spent loads of money on her

i know a few will read this and say aaaah so what big deal but i tell it's a massive deal to me

has anyone else ever owned a wee boat like this wee baby???

maybe not the place to ask i have really boat her for fishing from but has anyone ever shot wild fowl from aboat or is there some law against this

Davy i will be honest with you mate it hasn't even moved as i have had a bad flu and even ended up in hospital

with it.

i hope to get out on Friday for a wee rip around the lough, will slip her in at oxford island (the boat that is lol) and have a wee scout around, i'm still not 100% postive about shooting from it to be honest so i have e-mailed the good people at BASC as i think it could differ from country to region even i.e. sunday shooting!!no sunday shooting etc etc

do you get out shooting yourself in the co.armagh area???

aye was out round aghalan only one pigeon came near us absolutely **** if your going to put the boat in at kinnego i think you need insurance from the council to use the slipway you mite be batter to put the boat in at portadown and scoot up the bann you might get something along the river also there is some good spots for fishing that you cant get at from the bank

ps, im not sure if your aloud to shoot on the bann. :drinks:

no you just have to have your own insurance which i do but there is never anyone around really only on sundays to pay your slip money to and even at that i think it's only a fiver, i bought the boat down at kinnego marine and it was the lads down there telling me this.

i couldn't work out what had been astrixed out "absolutely **** "?

the shootings not great i would do alot of my shooting up over the red hills and in and around moira down by the motorway etc but it's been poor this year so far

I think he was replying to your question in post #11, when you asked him if he shot from his, or just used it for fishing :yahoo:

I don't think he was telling you to only use yours for fishing :yay:
