red_stag88
A very nice fallow! I had an oportunity to shoot one of a similar size (a bit smaller mayby), but it was late and I didn't want to risk it. Well done!

Hubertus
See the jacket of the bullet below. I didnt measure it but it should be a 7mm bullet. I found it in the leg of the buck. Someone has shot probably another buck of the herd (10 when i took it out) and the rest of the bullet left the buck and got stuck in the leg of the other buck. It got stuck 3 or 4 cm inside the leg (so didnt had much energy left). The bullet has been blown up and the lead was gone only the copper jacket still. So it was a hard hit before (shoulder probably). He had on the leg 3 Bumps of pus. It was the reason why i shot the stag. Normally i would have left him because he was only round about 4 years old. He would have been much stronger! Hubertus
millo2
Nice little find that mate. It goes to show the damage and how dangerous a misplaced shot could be
Hubertus
yes Milo it should be a warning for everyone. I dont know who it was and i guess the guy will probably not have realised what have happened. But its always very very dangerous if something is behind the target even its away in an angle of 20.or 30. Will post some more pics.
