AVB
Haven't seen anything and the phone numbers give a recorded message saying they have closed but I know there was talk of it reoppening. Anybody have any details? Andrew

Markio
As Martin says try google, i don't have a phone number off hand to pass on. But yes, it has reopened and several members from here have shot it since. I think the quantity of traps is building up over time.

shoughton
It's a great place. I've been over there twice - friendly and relaxed. Basically you can do what you want and take as much time as you like - really good for trying out things with targets I struggle with. It's also a great place to take youngsters to learn - no spectators and no pressure. A perfect Friday afternoon!
MJN
and they have increased the size of the car park, so Saturdays won't be a bore of trying to find a space. M.

shoughton
We went again last week, on Tuesday. Loads of traps weren't working due to rabbits nibbling through cables. As Kevin was on holiday nobody else was capable of repairing the broken cables Not sure when it will be fixed - so worth giving them a call before visiting. shoughton
Everything was fine on Saturday 71/100 That's good to know - thanks. I wish they would offer some rabbit shooting too in order to tackle the cable nibbling problem!
Peter De La Mare
I advise not going to Fennes by oneself, you'll rattle through 200 birds in no time at all..... Asked for 100 to start with, somehow used 27 on the first stand and had to go back for another 100 after 20 minutes.
MC
Peter, I know what you mean about going on your own. But you can up the birds left on your card at several stands by using the credit button. This adds a further 25 onto you card. I always ask for a 1000 on a card as it makes no odds to them. The card system does sometimes have a mind of it's own after rain, or was it, you liked them high crossers :-)

Ya, I'm aware of that.....but I was trying to be half sensible and not spunk £50 on shooting in only an hour. I have zero will power in this area and was quite glad when the birds stopped coming, else I'd have been handing over £100 before thinking 'hmmmm, maybe I've had enough' The card system does sometimes have a mind of it's own after rain, or was it, you liked them high crossers :-) Ya, like the high crossers. Was working on my 'problem' of mysteriously increasing the lead I give some type of birds after killing the first couple. Got carried away.
