Fatcatsplat
Wellies and waterproofs!!! Nothing too garish in colour - You're going to be walking through bracken and bushes, so something reasonably durable and preferably breathable. A pair of leather gloves always come in handy for the thorny bits Enjoy - It's a fun day out
Popgun
Just a shooting jacket walking boots or wellys a pair of leggings a hat and some wet weather gear just in case. the shoot will sort you out a flag or beating stick. Mrs Sweepy
Waterproof leggings are the must . As if you are like me you will spend most of your time on your ****. I would not put to many layers on as you soon warm up and only have to carry them which is no fun. Hat if you want to wear one make sure it will stay on your head . I seem to spend most my time chasing that. When am not chasing the big fat clumber. And take some sugary sweets with you all that walking do make you light headed .(So do sloe gin but thats the other story) In all i just know you are going to have a great day. Have fun Suzyxxxx
Cushat
Wax cotton leggings are a must if there's a lot of bramble about - anything else will be torn to shreds in minutes. Enjoy!
John_R
All of the above, and a small bottle of water in my pocket to sip on, as I get really thirsty/dehydrated otherwise. It is great fun, I am lucky enough that the shoot I go on is in some great scenery and the people are very friendly to newbies.
AndyBaz
Much of the same as above, if you haven't been yet I can recommend it as a good day out as having just started myself, but as ever it is down to the people that make the time great and the birds are a bonus.
