On my own, the mirror casing holds the rifle perfectly in place, when out with three we take sun roof off, cars is in Cornwall me in Leicester. Dave-G
Chris has spent about the asking price on the car since he got it. Even the tiniest rattle squeak or suspension knock has been investigated and good (business expense) money lavished on its correction. The spray job alone was rather a lot but typical Chris - it HAD to be oven baked. Yea the bramble scuffs are down to me - no paint taken off - scuffed finish to the finish texture matte paint only - but Cris said it was ok to take it down that lane. The sunroof is a lift out aftermarket jobbie. We have had one out the roof (in the rear of the car) on a bipod and one on either door mirror. If any "right handers" have never tried shooting off the left door mirror of a car try it if your gun doesn't have a roll over cheek piece. It's all down to the fact that the gun is rested fore and aft. The car has accounted for well over a thousand bunnies during the increasingly brief times we have spent in Cornwall this year. Fleabag
did you sell it. I think its the wrong time to sell, credit crunch and all that. and to be fair until I get my lr3 home and try it in the same environment to see if its as good then i will wait a while.
