dazza
yeh. why july? Because there's nothing to shoot until the crows start to take the fields.
tweedledee
Because there's nothing to shoot until the crows start to take the fields. are there no fields of spring barley sewn down your way dazza?. i usually decoy cut silage fields from may on. good old sport and gets some heat in the barrels

Dr D
out yesterday. got soaked. 2 pigeons. pushed loads of rabbits, but never bothered with them. Gave the dogs a bit of fun though. Thought I would have got a couple of woodcock, but I never even saw one. wet weather must have pushed them back up onto the forestry plantations. I am hoping to get our tonight to finish the year at the ducks. Best of luck to anyone out today. nothing much to do after today except the pigeons
