Hedge Hogs go wild

Here are some pictures of my invading hogs that took over my garage earlier in the previous year.

The mum made a nest in a grow bag. Gave me a fright one night when she moved around but the babes were so young I let them grow and fly the nest.

But dident they leave a lot of **** after!

Still what do you think they are cute.

They look so sweet in the photos.

But believe me they are not.

They always come into my garden at around 2 AM.

For Hedgehog Sex. :)

It has been so bad some nights i have even had to go out and move them on.

Unfortunatly one night one of the little casanovas did not have his running shoes on.

So he could not out run sweepys landy. :good:

Sorry Mr Hedgie :good:

I guess youd call them Hoggers as in doggers! Do they come into your garden in their little hedgehog cars and flash the lights on and off looking for some action!!

Have you changed your piccy Mrs Sweep?

By the way have you seen hedge hogs fight? Well they dont they just breath heavy at each other untill one gets out of breath.

Could it be Mrs Sweepy that you have witnessed hedgehog domestic violence rather than a wonderful act?

I miss them since the badgers came back with a vengeance. I hardly see any round here any more, even the ones plastered on the road. Every Summer my garden is knackered by slugs which the hedgehogs used to make short work of.The sooner they stop protecting badgers the better. They did stuff all for my garden.

I do like your latest piccy.

Maybe the pigeon watch forum should produce a calander, your piccy should be sping'ish.

Apoligies to your hubby but its a nice piccy!

Why thank you young man.

I think the title to the piccy could be Old Mutton in the spring time. :P

Sweepy said thats ok And now might be a good time to get your eyes tested . :)

So tonight if Sweepy was the hedgehog the only thing he will be doing in my garden is breathing heavy.

And trying to pick a fight.:lol:

I'll own up... I did once find a baby hedgehog by the side of the road and I got a friend to drive me 300 miles to Miss Tiggywinkles sanctuary where they took 'Spike' off my hands. Who'd have thought that such sweet boy would become a blood thirsty hunter! haha, bless them though, nice pics!
