Pat i think it was cheap enough at tannyoky last week when i stocked up - 250 12 ga shells (32gm no 6's), 1000 yellow jacket .22's and 70 clays on the sporting trap worked out at £106; sorry im not sure what they were individually, but i know 8 months ago 1000 .22 rounds were about £60, and 100 clays works out about £20 usually... GW80
I don't do a lot of clays as i simply can't afford it, but do enjoy a round of Skeet or compac sporting. I have only shot sporting twice at game fairs but if i had the cash i would do a lot more as i do enjoy it.

pat 1
who had the cheap shells pat? was it mckendrys? I think thats the name tweedledee.James at carnview was talking about them. But I think he is out of cheap ones at the minute.Might still be worth a phone call.I have never been there. Crawfords have a good price advertised in the smoking clays mag.Rotweil at 37.50 and 36.50.I might try them, but there are two different types maybe these are the cheaper ones.As for mccloys I heard that someone shot 100 of those new ones but had a lot not go of in a browning. I still think that we are being fleeced a bit with these prices. Its obvious as there are a lot less shooting. Pat
tweedledee
i shoot carnview quite regularly, apparently james bought 10000 shells of mckendry so thats why he has none left.crawfords would n`t be bad for prices either.he`s in the book under plumbers suppliers if you need his number. i tried the diana shells mccloys sell and i thought they were pricy and i did n`t like them one bit

Fat Dog
Hi guys, shoot a lot of sporting, have started shooting UCPSA registered this year, Ballydugan this week coming. Have two mates who bought shells ( plastic wad ) from McCloys last week, Vogue I think they are called, £130 / 1000. Good price and no bad reports yet. Got 1000 fibre wad from Tanyoky, £148 / 1000. Express loaded for Manchester Shooting Club ( or School ). Jury still out, not sure about consistancy.
