JR1960 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 Hi Guys, well thanks to all the lads in south wales who offered to take me out with them but sadly(?) i got another, better, offer working for an Engineering Consultancy in Sidcup. So after 18 months unemployed i got three job offers in a week! Just goes to show you mustn't give up. So here we all are living on sunny Sheppey and loving it. Just had the Firearms check and my new cert done so where are all you local lads and lasses? Been having a look at the *********************** website, is at as good as it seems? Anyone shoot there? Yup - 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month - They'll be doing the Wednesday eveining shoots as well now - 50 sporting - Sometimes challenging and sometimes not. Cranfield Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 There use to be a commercial duck shoot near the old Kingsferry Bridge where you could buy an evenings flighting and a Game/Wildfowl Shoot at Harty Ferry (well there was last season). You will probably have to get of the Isle for some pigeon shooting. I am glad that you have finally got a job and have settled in your new location.
