jethrofurness
Hi everybody this is a bit of a warning and also a querie at the same time. At roughly 23:30 pm last night (18/03/09) some thieving scum tried to have away with my 1976 Land Rover Lightweight, which is not only my shooting motor but my everyday means of transport, they were unsucessfull as there is a nack to starting it. Nothing has been stolen from the vehicle and they definatly wanted to take it not just see what they could steal! Has anybody in the Stockport area had problems? as the police didn't seem very worried/bothered! I hope nobody else has this trouble as my planned two days holiday from work to go and shoot some pigeons over some brilliant rape and winter wheat is properly stuffed due to a burnt out starter motor and a knackerd wiring loom!!!!! Symes
There are a lot of travellers/####s knocking about in that area at the moment, a lot of caravans and general theft going on. Having had several run ins with them myself. Be extra vigilant!!
