IS FINISHED :yay::birthday::balloon:

Although as im in work i cant post pics. :drinks: will put some up in the morning.

What a job this was. i never knew it would be so hard to sand the spacers (buffalo and antler) by hand. I have given it a few coats of linseed oil, and although its not going to win any prizes, i made it and its mine :yay:

A big thanks to Henry and Jonty for the bits, really appreciate it guys :yay::/

That's good going Martin :blush: I have a thing about not having any pointy bits on sticks as I have visions of falling ovre and being impaled on them, but that is just me.

Did you take it to the local curry house to take the photo's?

cheeky ****** :good: that was £30 a roll, Mrs MM will kill you if she sees this.

Looks great Martin - there's nothing better than hanging your gun slip over your own stick at a peg mate! Glad to see the spacers got used so nicely. With reference to the resin, if you put some very non-sticky masking tape (if it's too sticky lay it on your work bench to gather a bit of dust) around the parts you are joining and then as the resing goes off you can remove the excess by taking the tape off.

Nice job though anyway :blush:

Very nice stick Martin. With regard to too sticky masking tape, I find that electrical tape is better a bit thicker if you rasp the wrong bit (if you know what I mean)and if it is too sticky just stick it too your trousers once, remove and this removes excess stickiness as my trousers are usually full of dust and dirt (ooh err) Works a treat
