My van is up for change and wondered what these little engined motors are like these days? I have narrowed the choice down to either a vauxhall combo 1.3 cdti or fiesta 1.4 tdci. I don't have to carry much these days and have read the reviews which are quite positive. I will admit I was expecting the vauxhall to be a little underpowered. Prehaps you can give me some feedback. Pedro Posted April 4, 2009 Report Share Posted April 4, 2009 130,000miles, 1.8 Diesel, L reg Escort van all the way - I've put 10,000 miles on it since Sept last year and it stands me in at £650 + £50 for 2 oil and filter changes, oh and £16 for a part worn f/n/s . The best bit of kit I've bought for ages (Smells very much like a toilet now though, as a consequence of trying to get rid of some blood off of the "fitted carpet" in the back).
