kdubya
it sticks in my mind the same way that the Bradford fire did watching live on TV and then slowly taking in the enormity of the events, sadly I also remember well the misinformation and character assassination's that took place at the time, the gutter press tabloid called the sun being a big culprit? respect to the families of those involved on this sad day. kw

apbuild
96 innocent football fans, anticipating a great game of football, only to perish through the incompetence of the authorities. May they rest in peace. Thoughts also to those fans who endured, yet survived the horrific event on that fateful day, 20 years ago.
kdubya
for those who are to young to understand the enormity and the subsequent ( supposed way) football supporter's are now treated, I post this link, KW http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/ap...shire-liverpool
Kron
I didn't get to go to the game (which I'm glad about now but was annoyed at the time) but remember mates from school telling their stories about the day. Should have been one of the highlights of the year for both clubs instead 96 innocent people died, many more were injured and a lot who witnessed it never went to another football match again.
