markbivvy
Or better still ask a person with a bit of experience to take you out for a while until you get the hang of things. You owe it to the quarry and to the shooting community to be capable.
Devilishdave
.22 lr will kil a fox but I would not set out to shoot them with it. I have used 42 grams of 3s on full choke to good effect in my 2 3/4 chambre 12 bore squeek em in and give them the good news. You would be beffer with a cf for the foxes Dave

markbivvy
if the FLD dont give you a condition for fox then the shotgun is the only legal way for you. personally, i think your having us on.

Mungler
thanks for the help libs the permission he signed for the land is for "Foxes and other vermin" for .22 and shotgun Errrrrrrrrrrrrr. Okay, so the firearms officer did or your farmer did? Hang on, why am I asking this? The answer for both is "no". You won't get plod giving .22 for fox (unless it's hornet and do I see plod giving you that?) You don't get farmers giving "permission" in those terms. I have nothing else to add and everyone else can make their own minds up and or waste their own time on this. Zapp
Ok, ok... Fact is that this guy seems to have bought guns from people on the forum, so he must be legit to that extent.
