Ok pigeonpals.

Does anybody know if you can train an eye to become more dominant?

Obviously I'm left eye dominant and right handed.

I have to close my left eye when I have picked up the target, which dont bother me too much.

But being able to keep both eyes open will help with gauging depth of field,

Is it possibly to retrain your dominant eye ?

What you rekon

Tried the easy hit bead, but I just got two sight pictures

cheers ANNI.

Have a word with Craig on Saturday. He used to have no particular eye dominance (is it called mid eye dominance). He got it sorted but I can't remember how, but he did it himself without all these patches on his shooting glasses or standing on one leg etc

He probably punched himself in the left eye for a while, until it got itself sorted. We could help you with that ;)

Me to. I use the easyhit and also see 2 sight pictures but when focused on the clay the easyhit bead seems to help sighting in( if that makes any sense) Eye dominance certainly causes me problems.

I'm shooting a mirook mk38, so the middle bead comes into play which is a pain.

My right eye picks up the red dot, and my left eye is picking up a side veiw of the barrels and the middle bead.

When I pick up the red dot of the easyhit with my right eye, if I close my left eye i'm actually to far over the stock with my cheek and I'm not looking straight down the barrels

I must look like marty frikin feldman (google him).

And all that before i even think of pulling the trigger
