Nicky T
I've got a Browning 525 Sporter that i've owned from new for the past 18 month. I've probably shot in excess of 15,000 cartridges through it in that time so with that in mind is it about time i got it serviced? If so, where would you recommend taking/sending it (i'm in Manchester btw) Nick
Catamong
Nicky, Add another nought to that 15,000 and it should still be as good as the day you bought it, guns are not like motor cars, very few moving parts to go wrong. Cat.

Westcountryman
I spoke to a guy on Sunday, at a local clay club. He's had his clay gun for 20 years. He uses it most weekends and not had it serviced yet. looked as good as new too. A lovely Krieghoff K80.

bruno22rf
Take the forend & barrels off-remove the stock and soak the action by spraying with WD40-pop down to any local garage/engineering workshop and blow out any dirt with high pressure air-apply a LITTLE light oil to all the moving parts and reassemble-job done-spend the money you have just saved on shells.
