Only trouble is the barrel doesnt seem to be as stiff as it was before i can now move it forward slightly! Anyone had the same problem? or am i just being paranoid.? Ferret Master
If it breaks tomorrow, I'll let you borrow a proper gun. I'm bringing the side by side. :look: FM
steve_b_wales
Take the barrel back off and try again. Make sure it sits correctly in the breech. Also make sure that the screwcap on the fore end is tight.
J@mes
As steve says - make sure its sat correctly on the action as I put mine together once and didnt - luckily i checked it before I put it away.
Paul@Ribchester
Stillsy, I don't want to hijack your post but how the hell did you get the cocking handle to come out? Or does it not come out and the extractor located in front of it comes out? I have watched the vid on youtube but still cant work it out. Cheers, Paul. Just looked at the youtube vid again and I'm sure its the cocking handle that comes out, I'm just a bit worried about being a bit heavy handed as I have broken more things than I care to remember by using brute force....... Ferret Master
If it's anything like my A303, close the action, lie the gun flat with the action facing up. Pull directily upwards on the cocking handle and it should just come away. FM

Remove barrel then holding the action at the top with your left hand-push the bolt downwards everso slightly with your index finger so the little mark lines up with the cocking handle. Then pull the cocking handle while wiggling it and it should pop out.
