AdamW Posted July 25, 2009 Report Share Posted July 25, 2009 Mark, the cable should be fine! i bet it's you ISP (Internet provider) who is it? do you get a little box done the bottom right of the screen saying "network connected" and one saying "network unplugged" or some thing like it? if not its your isp for sure! or maybe a problem router? Start - Run - In the box type "cmd" and press return... (without the quotes) In the black window that then appears, type "ipconfig /all" then select, copy and paste ALL output here. Type "exit" and then type the following: "Ping 4.2.2.1" and post the results. Jon when he types this he gets........ request timed out request was 2 seconds then comes up cannot find server then black screen flashes straight of..
