ME
I am after some RED H3 Bulbs to convert my Shoguns spotlights for driving in dim red light for lamping. Anyone got an ideas ? I have looked on Ebay and Googled a bit but cant find them for a decent price from a UK supplier. I have looked into some "gel filters" like they use for Discos but they are only for use with 30 watt downwards. Any other ideas for dim red light for night driving ? MC
You need a theatrical lighting supplier, and get a red filter from them. They will be rated a lot higher than 30 watt
al4x
if you're going to use a filter you could just use the standard bulbs, hate to say it though LV its unlikely to work as well as just having the driver lamp with a lightforce. Beardo
make some... Lee Filters are the main supplier... http://www.leefilters.com/lighting/product...C4630710C51307/
ME
I only want some dim red lighting so I can see where I am going better, it isnt for the actual lamping. The red filters all seem to be limited to 30 watts for some reason and they are small diameter..
Fatcatsplat
Hang a couple of pairs of red boxers over them - Perfect!

garyb
Should of gone to specsavers! All our lamping is done without the need for driving lights to see where we're going, I find the natural light and the odd quick flash in front with the lightforce is fine

al4x
snap never really gets dark these days with the amount of light pollution about. If you hit a dark patch just flick on the lamp or side lights and hey presto

al4x
if they're using a rifle you just stop when you spot your quarry and then they shoot you just need lights at the end of fields or when going round tracks, if you're out with shotties just use the headlights and bomb about
