SHOOTING IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO BASC MEMBERS

i am a member of a wildfowling club in lincolnshire and my friend and i have some pigeon and rabbit shooting in the area as well , the club has vacancies and i share a caravan with two other guys , so to help with the rent and travelling costs we could accomodate a couple of new guns ,

the position would suit someone who is retired or semi-retired and who could go mid-week , we travel from north manchester along the M62 , down the A1 to the A17 and over to the wash area ,

should have added that there is some great bass fishing as well at this time of year

JRS mate what a good offer, if you ever need a couple off guns, for any weekend shooting, give us a shout.

Me and my brother, will share any costs ect, and have a couple of beers, did a lot of work round there a few years back, stayed at a BLACKHORSE PUB at a place called BARDNEY happy memories.

Cheers Dave.

I will ask the question that's on a few lips, without starting an argument can you tell me Why B.A.S.C. only ?

I left B.A.S.C. last year after a long time with them for several good reasons and joined the Countryside Alliance

The C.A. in my view are the biggest and most active organisation fighting for the rights of ALL field sports, and they

offer the same level of insurance (better in some respects) as B.A.S.C. do. for instance you mention fishing, as far as i'm

aware B.A.S.C. insurance wouldn't cover you for any problems or accidents while fishing where the C.A. will. I'm just

curious as to why someone would make such a predudiced arangement that's all.

p.s. other than that your not far from me :hmm:

sorry about not making a reply earlier,i have asked at the club "does it have to be BASC insurance" and i was told that it has to be , not my rules , i just have to obey them

as for fishing that has nothing to do with the wildfowling club , i thought that if it was unsuitable for fowling i would go fishing .

my mate cannot get time away from work for the start of the season this year so there is a slot available for any interested person , i am going to fossdyke on the 31st of august (monday) and intend to shoot from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and maybe the 5th of september so if anyone is interested let me know ,

please dont make an appointment if there is a chance of you not being able to keep it , let someone else bennifit

BASC insurance is needed and the only insurance the club will except

replys by PM please

I am a member of Leicestershire Wildfowler's Association and have a BASC membership but no dogs.

Only recently got into shooting so am unsure if I would qualify for your offer?

Have only shot a few hundred clays, three lessons and going for my first pheasant shoot this weekend.
