Cranfield
I have removed the strap buckle fitting on the stock of my Benelli semi auto and now have a nice hole in the wood. Any ideas for a temporary plug ?

MM
depending on the wood, you could by a softwood filler. these are good at keeping damp out and can easily be removed with a spade bit.
Harnser
What i have done in past Cranfield is to take the butt pad off and chiselled a small piece of wood out of the inside of the stock to use as a plug . This should match colour and grain . Harnser .
