Ozzy Fudd
ive had the claw bipod on mine for 2 years no drilling required from uttings about £25 good luck whats that one then? i just got some cheapo one off ebay for about £10, doesnt cant, etc, but swivels ok. it fits onto a weaver rail, took 5 mins putting a rail on the underside of the wooden stock (long story, old stock had a rail built in )
bullet boy
Only use Harris-which are the best!If you buy cheaper version then before long you`ll realise you should have payed that extra for a quality bipod. Its well worth it in the end. Ozzy Fudd
why? its only a .22lr, if it was something bigger then definitely, but a 22lr doesnt need it; that one i use cost £10 3 years ago and works perfectly
George1990
I'm after a cheap, good bipod. Personally, I think Harris bipods are a ******* joke. £100 for a swivel 27". On ya bike...
sapper063
it fits on barrel by a clamp easy to change to other rifles just look at uttings type in dragon claw bipod
ferretmanabu
The edgar brothers make a good harris type one. They seem to have taken the good bits off the harris and improved on the bad bits plus they're about forty quid cheaper
casts_by_fly
I've got a shooter's ridge harris clone. Have had it for 4-ish years now and used it plenty on half a dozen guns. It's not a swivel (which I'd like) and it is short (the 9-13"). But the cant is just fine and the legs are individually adjustable. For the price it's a good bipod. I got mine in the states before we moved so I don't know what price they are here. I don't like the bipods that clamp to the barrel. A lot of rifles are picky about barrel pressure and/or free float and I know most of mine have been. Thanks, Rick
steve_b_wales
Rockmount make a good bi-pod. I had one fitted to a rifle for 2 years, without any problems. All my rifle's have Harris ones fitted now though.
