Sqwelchy
Im having problems fixing my safe to the wall. Im using anchor bolts but i can still yank it off the wall. What bolts has everyone used to fix theirs?
unclestuffy
What building materials have you drilled the anchor bolts into? Does the walling substrate crumble under tension? Although not on a gun cupboard I have used car body filler in the hole to fix screws for extra strength but it is a bit "bodge it and scarper" Uncle stuffy

J@mes
Use chemical anchor from screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/prods/25733/Fixing...ion-Resin-150ml and M10 threaded rod with nyloc nuts
Greenhunter
Use chemical anchor from screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/prods/25733/Fixing...ion-Resin-150ml and M10 threaded rod with nyloc nuts Its possible you have drilled the holes too big in which case the above is going to be your best bet. The FEO probably wont try too hard, mine didn't. GH

Delbert
I had the same trouble due to crispy mortar. In the end I used anchor through bolts and a heavy shot of epoxy into the holes to penetrate and stabilise the masonary still rock solid 30+ years on. evansaj23
Hi, use 10mm 75mm long rowl bolts, you will need a 14mm drill bit as well you can get tham from b and q. or most good builders yards.
MM
two of the bolts on mine were not that great, so i took them out. I filled the holes with a load of no nails, and then used a couple of long screws with washers on. Reason for edit: dont leave PW on when you leave the office and you have the village idiot working with you Edited August 22, 2009 by MM

Imperfection
If the rawl bolts pull out of the holes and you've drilled them to the correct size-just squeeze some pink Gripfix into the holes first then reinsert the bolts and attach cabinet before it all sets.
