welshwarrior Posted September 6, 2009 Report Share Posted September 6, 2009 I'm looking to get a gun bore Cyl Cyl adjusted can you add choke i,e add metal to get 1/2 1/4, if so where and how much. Or is the only option a multie choke conversion like Teague do. Has anyone else had this done who does it and how much. BlaserF3 Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 The only way I know of creating choke through a cylinder bore is to ask a gunsmith to create a "Jug" choke by reaming the barrel so as the bore before the muzzle is wider than the cylinder choke. It was quite common in the black powder era. Just Google JUG choke and have a look . that's easier than me trying to explain it. Low velocity cartridges tend to pattern tighter too.
