chris lewis
I have just recently managed to get some land to shoot over . Now I want to do it properly. I have cpsa insurance , would this cover me for the decoying or would I have to get the basc as well ,
lurcherboy
Be prepared for a longggggggggggg thread with bods slagging off one organisation or another. Good luck with the decoying Chris. LB
ernyha
Chris I think the only people who can answer that one are the ones at CPSA and I would suggest you contact them to make sure. Peoples opinions here wont count for anything if it comes to the crunch, find out from the CPSA direct.
Salopian
Chris, I think CPSA does not cover you for shooting live quarry.
cooky
From their site £5 Million public liability insurance cover for ALL field sports (except mounted hunting)

webber
But dont expect the CPSA to defend the shooting of live quarry, because they wont! webber
Axel
Yes, as others have already said, you are covered for field work with the CPSA. I used to be in the BASC but didnt always agree with some of the things they did, so got cover with the CPSA, through their Clubman category, £21.50 pa (a lot cheaper than the BASC). Good shooting! SNAKEBITE
I used to be in the BASC but didnt always agree with some of the things they did Not being funny but what did you not like about them? If you want to keep it off the forum then send us a p.m. Not knocking you I'm just curious.
Highlander
There's been a whole lot of talk on here about the benefits of one or another organisation so lets not go down that route BUT join the CPSA if cheaper's what you want ONLY don't complain if they don't stand full square behind you when it comes to live quarry shooting. AND why would you give your support to such an organisation if your priority is live quarry shooting? Food for thought???
