3 of them made into track bikes and sold on

the rest tidied modified and sold for profit

And have just bought a 1989 yamaha fzr 400 exup

Does anyone know where i can get a tinted/smoked or iridium screen for the yammy fzr?

had a yamaha DT-R 125 just for playing about offroad it was loads of fun but i got rid when i first left home as i had no where to keep it at the new house it was a rented place with a shared courtyard. i had it 2 years and had loads of fun with it and got what i paid for it when i sold it so basically got two years use for free ;)

Perhaps some advanced riding lessons would be a better purchase than a tinted screen!! :good:

Have you tried Mandp for the screen? If not, get on a Yam forum and ask around. You dont want iridium anyway - they went out in the 90's with shell suits.....of course, these may be your leathers in which case there's no hope!......

Started out learning to ride in the scouts (1960's - Old ***! ) on an old Matchless 250 and BSA 250 something,

For my sins, my first bike was the first ever Honda 250 Dream in Lincolnshire

- Then a short period with an XT500

-Then a long break (Mortgage, Kids, car - you know the stuff!)

-Back to riding on a Yamaha Virago- I now have a short hamstring on one leg, so I cannot lift my toes on the pedals on race/tourers, I need slightly forward controls. Loved the intro to cruiser style bikes. :good:

-My First Harley, a battered old 1000 cc Ironhead Sportster :D The children were older and didn't want to come away on hols and my late wife loved the bikes and the rallies  so I saved up and changed to

-Harley-Davidson ElectraGlide Sport, what a great bike, loved touring. I think the furthest I did in one epic days riding was nearly 600 miles!

- Bought an FXRS convertible Harley-Davidson from a friend at a silly price - so much for not spending too much on the bikes!

-Swapped the Electraglide for a Harley-Davidson Softail Custom (see my Avatar) Great ride, still two, spoiled for choice.

-Picked up a little long-term restoration project - another Harley (Is there a trend here?) Just a baby, a Z-90 two stroke in cardboard boxes (Still!)

-2005 - **** year, :yay::cry1: My licence was suspended on medical grounds because of balance problems. Bikes put to bed and prepped for storage till the problem gets better.:no::no:

Now - Just sold the Softail :bye2::bye2: Looking to sell the FXRS in Spring (something has to fund the new Gun  ) balance problem no better, just got to get over it& spend my time relaxing and killing Clay! Thats it for me, see you all soon
