I changed job a few months ago so got a new car! XC60 mileage stayed were it was, no significant improvements at 6000 miles

A suggestion; don't include anything that people could judge you by. In some areas you need to be the grey man. (In others you need to stand out) The first paragraph tells me your age, race and sporting pursuits, all of which can be used to judge you, rightly, wrongly, good or bad. You have also capitalised your character traits with the exception of 'keen eye for detail'. Your CV is your sales pitch, so talk about all the good points. Review the job specification or advert you are applying for and try to match up yours skills. As an example if the advert requires someone who can work to deadlines, make a point of station g this in one of your previous roles (as long as it's true). There are loads of good templates for CV's online and what you have written already is really good stuff, but in my opinion needs a bit of tweaking and structure. All the best and good luck

From what I understand, I would steer clear of CSA/CMS and try to come up with an seperate agreement (could be a binding separation agreement). Use the calculator to work out the amount and pay direct as per separation agreement. If you use CSA/CMS the receiving partner will receive slightly less (fees) and the paying partner will also have to pay fees. The only winner here is the CSA/CMS.

I love skeet and find it hugely addictive, "just one more round"... When I started out (and still do every now and then) I shoot each stand as singles. All the high birds 1-8 then all the low birds from stand 8 back to 1. I found this a great way to start building muscle memory and sight pictures. Was also told to point your belt buckle at the low house on every stand which will sort feet position. Never hit a bird on stand 8 though

Yep, for start/stop, but the type of driving you mentioned, don't expect good fuel returns. The one thing I dislike about the car is the lack of an auto park brake! It's a pain as the handbrake button is on the right hand side below the dashboard. And for some weird reason you push it too put it on and pull to release. It's a small thing, but makes hill starts and pulling away from junctions a bit of a 'hand jive'. Boot space is good and huge when read seats are folded down

I have a 2014 in D4 2WD flavour. Love it as a daily driver and loads of poke (manual gearbox). MPG is not quite as claimed and obviously don't go anywhere near dirt in it. I did 250 miles today on all kinds of road and averaged 44mpg. Motorway all day see's low 50's and town driving is in the mid 30's. Vehicle only done 4000mls so may get a bit better when it's run in.

Hi, Would you consider £100 as reasonable? Can collect tomorrow. Tks -
As above, get it back together and get it tested with nitrogen (it's illegal to knowingly release refrigerant gas into the atmosphere). Any repairer / fast fit should test before carrying out a re-gas so you could get away with an FOC check

I might have read to much into it, but negotiate/walk out your notice = you keep guns & employee gets shot of disengaged employee

StuC replied to lap9387's topic in General Shooting Matters
What happened? Assume guns have been transferred to other SGC holders tickets, so irrelevant of your cabinet arrangements. -
