There is another old remedy that I've seen advertised but I too can't remember the name of! Begins with a C if memory serves. My better half used to be a veterinary nurse, and for eczema they used a 10% solution of Hydrogen Peroxide. Cheap as chips (not at what her boss charged for it! ), and worked well.
