Good evening all from the Wirral. Finally after a few tries I can actually post a topic!! I love the wealth of knowledge on here and look forward to being a part of it. I'm in the process of moving from air rifle to shotgun and am expecting my SGC through the door any day fingers crossed. I would be very interested in any info on real chilled out clay shoots around the Wirral and also near my caravan in Llanberis north wales.

Regards

Welcome to PW.

Good Clay shoot at Mickley Hall near Nantwich. Very friendly and chilled out. Lessons very reasonable compared to a lot of places and prices for clay shooting very good.

Good Discount with membership but you don't have to be a member to shoot there. John and Scott nice chaps who run the place and good instructors too.

P.S They have air rifles too.

Hi evo. No I don't have any permissions to shoot yet. I can't imagine it's too easy to get them though. Do you have any regular perms? Newt99

got a few perms mate , from the Wirral down to welshpool and back to holywell, not much about on the Wirral as its taken mostly by syndicate,s and you have to laugh as they hardly shoot the land, but they are always there to winge when the farmer asks me and my buddie to sort out the pigeons and crows , if they cant be bothered to get off there lazy backsides then that's there problem, certainly enjoy helping the farmers out
