Mitchiet123
Just got my new buffalo river rifle rest put it together and the threads on the main post were so fine they stripped any one else had problems with this rest thanks for looking Not trying to offend in any way mate but buffalo river in my opinion is just cheap Chinese ****! Had two safes off them and 4 replacement keypads- none work so cut the wire and use the override key.... Not good for a £600 safe. Also had a double rifle case- picked it up with 2 guns in it and the handle fell off under the weight. Wish I just shelled out a bit more and bought sentry safe and guardian rifle case or similar! spandit
I presume my Sealey safe keypad is the same as your Buffalo River one - keypad started making very odd noises when I was away and frankly the beeping was getting on my nerves anyway so I just use the key now. Was only £200, mind, so not too bothered. My BR gun rest looks pretty good but haven't actually used it yet (it's a Christmas present anyway so shouldn't have really opened the box!) It's this keypad- gives error code EO3 or just says unlocked and won't open. Was surprised how simple the electronics were inside- literally just a wire and a solenoid with batteries.... Scully
Bought a Buffalo River gunslip some years ago. It was rubbish.
theshootist
Slightly off topic - but are the Buffalo River gunsafes considered poor quality compared to say a Sentry Safe, or are they all much of a muchness. In the US there seems to be a lot of choice, but not here.

Not actually that more expensive really....
