Hi Foxxy,

Just for the record no we are not in financial difficulty. Yes we have had a shuffle with two people in our team: one of them is our apprentice who is my best mates son who has decided to go travelling abroad. The other member of my team who ran the accounts has left due to an office job not being for her and for your information we have a new member of staff in her position who has started this week.

For your interest, we have transformed from operating out of a Iforwilliams cattle trailer when we started with just me and a diary. We now have a team of 5 full time staff along with a number of freelance staff and are looking to have some one part time on the ground so very different to your lovely comments.

It is a great shame that you are not behind the fact that we are investing both time and money into developing a facility that most people are able to enjoy. Feel ring to ring me direct to voice any further comments, we are always open minded to such constructive opinions.

I have heard they have been selling/using smelly, dirty, rubbish 12 gauge 8s 21 gram cartridges made by Gamebore with Honesberie name on them.

it seems a lot of regulars do not go there now.

Foxxy,

The smelly dirty rubbish cartridges you refer to are yes Game bore loads that we are proud to be ambassadors of.

The cartridges are used at all of the top shooting schools in the country and if they were dirty and smelly then I believe Games bore would be in financial difficulties by now given the number they sell each year.

Again, please feel free to pick up the phone instead of hiding behind a screen.

Perhaps the mods should have a look at the OP's posts, sounds like more than a bit of negativity especially considering his posts in Events & Meets promoting another club.

For the record I do not shoot clays or attend any clay club anywhere. Neither am I acquainted with any of the parties involved with the posts sent to date. However I do feel that the criticisms levelled may have a touch of self interest and the interests of others.

Got to be against a rule somewhere on PW.

If I am wrong then I unreservedly apologise.

Smelly cartridges?

If you don't like the ground, or the cartridges they sell, shoot somewhere else.

Unless you are just trying to tarnish their reputation??

Could be right Colin given the post yesterday, 1st March, and of today.

I haven't been to their ground specifically but I did see them at Silverstone F1 last year and from the service I received I find some of the comments hard to believe. Really hope they're going to be there this year.
