Anti climax today

I harvested a rape field on Saturday and pigeons were piling in as I cut it. Hundreds have been on every day since so I let them build until today when I gave myself the afternoon off. Set up under the main flight line and quickly got a left and right and thought I'm going to have a good day. The pigeons then began to ignore me, with or without magnet, with or without bouncers. I changed pattern numerous times but nothing helped. The woodies weren't having any of it. They ignored me and kept on their flight line to a spinney where they split and went various ways. I thought with the rain earlier then brightening up would bring them to feed this afternoon. Ah well never mind. I'll wait to cut the beans now. Anyone have trouble in notts/lincs with pigeon behaviour/numbers?

They were feeding when I turned up so they were still interested in that. It's the only non disced rape stubble in the area. Must just be a case of sometimes they do sometimes they don't.

Precisely, unfortunately for you it was a "sometimes they dont day". Hope you have better luck soon buddy.
