I disagree. You do not need a certificate to own or hold shotgun cartridges. You do not evan need a license to buy or sell them. taz.

It would kill two birds with one stone (Pun intended). I was thinking of one of the large road legal one and it would serve two purposes. 1 it could be used to transport myself and equipment. 2 it could fulfil my need to ride bikes. taz

On holiday a friend of mine ran out of the sea up the beach towards two girls sunbathing near us. He had been eyeing one of them up for a few hours and plucking up the courage to speak to her he used coming out of the sea as an excuss to walk past her. He walks up to her but unknowingly he had a nose and face full of snot (from being in the sea) without realising what he was doing he wiped his nose and face and as he got to where the girl was, in one clean motion he brought his hand down from his face flicking a hand full of wet snot onto the girls belly. For about ten seconds he stood mortified at what he had just done, looking at this girl who was equaly as shocked at what had happend. He regained his composure and with all the grace he could muster he said "the names Bond, James Bond" and walked off. As he walked passed me, I was in hysterics he promptly walked to the beach bar never to venture onto the sand again that day. taz.

Do you want it to replace you original horn or do you want it as well as the orriginal to be used on different occasions? If you want to replace your original horn assuming the two are similar in power consumption, you could just swap new for old (power consumption will be wrote on the back of the horn probabaly somthing like 12v 5w) As long as the klaxon is not too large (power wise) it will swap. If you want it to run aswell as the horn you will need to fit it and install a selector switch to your dashboard so you can select the horn or the klaxon and thenwhen you ress the horn button it sounds the one you selected. If you need futher advise let me know taz

I can understand the reasons why you would load cartridges yourself. But the problem I have is. The other week I tried to put used cart's in my gun and found I was unable to do so because the cartridge base had been expanded too wide to sit in my guns chamber. I asked if this is normal and was told that yes that is the case even with cartridges shot from your own shotgun. So how do you home loaders go about ensuring that all the cartridges can be used in your gun? How many times realisticly can a cartridge be reloaded. Cheers taz.

I would phone the shop aswell. If the screw has been damaged then they may say you did it!!! You will get a more sensible answer from the shop than here Cheers taz

I'd be intrested in 1000, 2000 if the price was right. Why 8 shot would 6 to 7 be better. Would prefer fiber wad aswell because where I shoot plastic is not allowed. Cheers taz.

Before I had a pair of plastic snap caps I wanted to test my new gun so I picked up a few used cartridges out of a pile of used ones in a skip at a clay shoot site I use (Id forgotton to keep a few of my own empties). When I got home and after cleaning I tried the used carts in my gun and when I tried to close it up both carts failed to go into the barrels. I took them out swapped them around and tried several times in the end I bent the brass casing base of one of the carts and it jammed in the ejector. I was worried as you may imagine. I placed two unused carts in the gun and they were fine. So long intro to a quick question. Do some guns vary slightly in breech diamiter enough to cause the cartridge base to expand enough not to fit into another gun? Or could the other gun be warn slightly so the carts were expanding beoynd the limit of a normal 12g? Thanks taz

Overpriced maybe but different from canned / bottled no. The stuff in the can is the same stuff in the keg. On the production line while canning, bottling or putting in kegs the beer / lager is the same just pumped to different lines. taz.

You say the gun is new. New to you or brand new and still in warrantee? If in warrantee get it back to the shop. If new to you but an old gun, then there could be somthing wrong with the second pin releasing. If it is old and you are confident then have a look at the trigger mech and see if there is somthing amiss. taz.

How much are you wanting to pay. You can buy brand new for £100 to £200. In any shop including Asda or Tesco's. taz.

I have similar problems. I have no dominance in any eye. My way of dealing with it is to keep both eyes open until the target is aquired and then I just close my left eye abit. Since I started doing it my shooting has improved ten fold. taz.
