  12. Was looking for a low profile draw system for the pickup but couldn't find anything suitable for reasonable money. All the drawer systems I looked at were £1000+ ....... Found a slimline van vault which fitted perfectly between the wheel arches and ticked all the boxes for me.
  13. General Grabber ATs have been fine for me. Did 30+K on them in my grand vitara, still had loads of life left when I sold the car!! I liked them enough to put a set on my pick-up and as expected, not been stuck yet. Mind you, I don't do any "hard core" off roading, I'm just driving about farms, wet grass fields and the edges of farm land etc ... they are more than good enough. Only noticed a very small increase in fuel consumption too, literally only 1-2 mpg.
  14. Stopped using the stuff 5 years ago after discovering it didn't work. Advantix works a treat. One dose will see her right through the summer.
  15. I use one on my 22lr, does the job well. Apparently a doubler helps sharpen the image up. I'd recommend them.
  16. Don't always use a hide, but if I do, I always add foliage to help it blend in.
  17. Iv found the problem... it's me. I'm resting my finger tip on the corner of the trigger blade and slightly pushing the trigger over to th left. I'm then dragging the trigger back slowly and unlocking the "set" so it's back to its standard state of trigger pull. Tried a few shots with the crease of my index finger on the trigger blade.... nice clean break every time Could have ended badly..... Thanks all for your input, much appreciated.
  18. On moving metal parts I use gun grease, oil migrates, more so when it gets warm.
  19. If I squeeze really gently it uncocks itself, if I almost tap it, it breaks as it should....
  20. I have noticed on my Sako 85, when using the "set" trigger, if I squeeze the trigger too gently, it becomes un-set, rather than the rifle firing.... Has anyone else experienced this ?
  21. I have , for the last few years now, emailed Hampshire to notify them of any purchases or sales. They have never replied with any sort of conformation of receiving notification, neither has there been any issues........ yet...
  22. Everywhere else is selling the tracer ir 400 for anywhere between £50 and £70... I certainly wouldn't pay that for one.... However, they are good enough for airgun and rimfire use..
