Interesting, I found the 725 32" front heavy and the 30" with adjustable comb back heavy, so a 30" sporter or a 32" with adj comb was the way to go. The stock dimensions on the 725 were what put me off most, as the gun kicked me severely. I must disagree on the safety catch though, Browning/ Miroku safety catches are anything but tight and positive feeling whereas Berettas are just that, and I have never accidentally changed barrels on either. For Brownings first attempt at a Beretta, they did a good job.

Apparently there is a choice of stock dimensions from Beretta, but GMK went for the dimensions that would fit the average Yank.... Rather than average Brit App

The only downside to the 692 iv found, is there is a lot more cast than usual and the combs on the sporters are low. I'd recommend the adjustable stock version for the sporter.

Just sold my black 725 for a 692. 725 is the equivalent of a silver pigeon 1. 692 is by far a better gun !!!! The black 725 has S3 on the side of the action which denotes the grade, g3. But some are much nicer than others .... Like mine was

Iv tried all sorts of warm, windproof and waterproof clothing over the years. The cheap stuff never lasted long. I believe in you pay for what you get and I also don't pay full wack for decent gear. Look about and you'll find good gear in sales etc, especially after the shooting season ;0)

My girlfriends family Live right next to a proposed fracking site nr Blackpool, the house prices are dropping, house insurers won't give them cover, lorry loads of contaminated waste water will be going through what was once a quiet little town etc etc there's a lot more cons than there are pros .... I feel sorry for the locals.

I was never keen on the gambore clear pigeons, particularly the fiber wad.... But I have changed my mind slightly after using some 30g 6 fiber wad recently, killed some very good high pigeons and a pair of crows ....

Set out at 12.00 this afternoon for a look about, knew what area the birds were in, but also knowing they'd been shot recently, I wasn't sure if they would be a bit jumpy or not...... Went to a rape stubble field and got set up, magnet with 2 dead birds close in and off to the left of the hide, 15 dead birds from yesterdays trip (shot 80) set out randomly, 30 yrds out in front. It was quite busy up to about 4pm then it slowed right down until I packed up at about 7pm. Had a lovely afternoon shooting, and managed to keep in the shade too, which was nice !! Finished up with 177. .
