    Just a silly question, how big would a drone have to be to carry a person? I'm not seriously suggesting it should be considered as a practical solution at the present time.

     

     

    how would you get a drone to function thro' a wall of flame.... ?

    could reporter shaming become a game of 2 halves?

     

     

    I would like to see 2 things happen.......

     

     

    1. proper reporters, who do their groundwork BEFORE they open their damn mouth..
    2. when politicians are being interviewed.....on the left of the screen should be a tick box...so when they answer the question they get a tick....and if they dont answer the question they get a red cross...the at the end of the interview they will be given their marks

     

    they want to act like children ...then we will treat them like children.........

    Shame RIP..he was 80 odd......where has all the time gone ?..............still think about Miss Roselyn...tho................ :oops: had the odd sleepless night over her

     

    and that gorgess one that is now in the house of lords...in those days she could look thro' my window anytime she wanted...

    AWESOME ..... and I just happen to have an ox tail in my freezer given to me by a lady I shot some foxes for :good::yes:

     

    Would those old fashion boiled potatoes be left in the skin by any chance?

     

     

    just rub off what comes off....cook em slow, so they dont break up....soft enuff to mash /break up with the back of the fork into the gravy .. :good:

    With all this damn terror stuff and EU carp and agression going on.......i have just listened to the new Irish Teashop with T May @ 10 downing

     

     

    Eire...will be important in how we deal with the Brexit issue............and seeing the new Teashop for the first time i thought what a nice decent sort of person to do buisness with....he has warmth and a good sense of humour...i bet him and May will get on well together....bet she is feeling quite relieved

     

    it makes such a differance having someone positive to deal with.............he is definatly the "glass half full person"....and is talking about good opportunities ...and a better relationship with UK than in the past............

     

    Now that is what we need in this world, im pleased it has come from the Irish....and it just makes the world feel better.......

    when i was abroad.....and we were doing chicken...on an oil drum bbq..(with a lid).....the chicken was done in a pressure cooker first....when it came out it looked like a dead baby. :lol:

     

    then we used to dump it into a sweet spicy bucket of stuff which contained beer....honey....plum jam...chilli.....worster sauce....tomatoe puri.....mashed onion ...sugar...

     

    open up the bbq....(not too hot)....chuck on half a handful of Hickory sawdust that had been soaking in water.....chuck on the meat that was covered in the sticky stuff from the bucket

     

    cook until crispy with the lid closed....to allow the smoke to infuse with the meat........get it out and eat.....

     

     

    dont use pine sawdust....or anything that has been cut by a chainsaw....(chainlube in it)....and yes i do know people who have done this.. :lol:

    Not an expert, but I'm pretty sure some photos of the interior (post disaster) showed fire hoses (presumably in lower levels) coupled to a dry riser.

     

     

    there was a report that the dry risers were stuffed as yobs had been nicking the brass couplings for scrap..........

    Take Cancer UK as an example. 80% of what they get is spent on fighting cancer. 20% is admin. Oxfam say that they spend 16% on admin. I don't know where people get these 80-90% on admin quotes from!

     

     

    think what people get mixed up about is when the charities put the collections out to contract.....(not so much now as people have cottoned on to it).....the contractor takes a massive cut and in the end the final reciepient is lucky if they see 10 pence in the pound....even less im led to believe

    personally i do much prefer an oil finished stock...and i bet that would look nice.......there are some very talanted people on here that would give you the advice you need...this is not a strip and dip lashings of oil jobby....to end up with something really nice it might take a couple of weeks..............

    nothing surprises me anymore..............im getting totally fed up with the whole issue......you know what ..i just really dont care anymore....and to top it all off May is having to deal with the media and the backstabbing ...gravy train jockies dirtbag guttersnipes in her own party...

     

    im not a great fan of May or any of the other ones...i believe what she is doing is not for herself but for the good of the country...........i wish we would all focus on Brexit and get on with things..

     

    sorry ...but im not in a good place about all this anymore...
